We are at the intersection of two eras, where the richness of the past meets the advent of the modern. The tradition of the workshop meets contemporary sophistication.

The Obrador project is a project that seeks to transform a dull space into a modern bakery, but maintaining the essence of a millenary profession. Evoking the charm of the past and the memories of craftsmanship through a palette of colors and materials that reflect the rustic life of the workshop, and honoring the origins of the site by rescuing and uncovering the old stone structure.

Warm and raw materials and the rustic finishes are our way to achieve this. Natural wood, metal and stone are examples. Furthermore, using the combination of neutral colors we aim to highlight the beauty of the simplicity and authenticity of these textures and surfaces, while the range of earthy colors highlights the idea of tradition.

The organic shapes of the elements seek to transcend monotony and, at the same time, create a fluid transition that highlights the product on sale. Here, interior design is not just about filling a space, but telling a story and evoking a sense of connection with the past as we move through the present. All this without losing sight of the importance of functionality in a work space.

The challenge of this project is to harmonize two apparently opposed concepts: the timeless value of the old and the freshness of the new. Every detail, from the layout of the decorative elements to the choice of materials, explains a story of long tradition and the evolution of the art of making bread. A place where modernity meets and merges with the past.
